Chuck Tells Kenny To Leave Him Alone Because He's "Having A Bad Week"
Thursday, May 22, 2008
Caught this after the Lakers win tonight and it had me rolling on the floor. Watch the reaction that Kenny Smith gives Chuck as Barkley calls Chauncey Billups the Pistions' Spiritual Leader and then the return comments from Barkley.....
Wow....that's the understatement of all understatements. Like I always say, if you can't laugh at yourself...who can you laugh at? Look I know gambling addiction is very serious, but a little laughter never hurt anyone. I'm glad Chuck can laugh about this and hopefully he's paid that debt by now.

Those guys have such good chemistry. Even Ernie, who is an overaged white guy, fits that group like a glove.
If that happened (somebody correcting an analyst) on ESPN to Steven A., Bill Walton, or Gottleib they would feel sleighted and sulk the rest of the show. Or shout the other guy to death.

It came out that Chuck paid his debt, but then the county prosecutor made a point to tell reporters that the case wasn't closed because now Barkley had to pay an extra $40k for the lawsuit filing. I'm not saying Chuck shouldn't have to pay, but I don't think the Clark County Prosecutor is getting invited to the TNT studio anytime soon either.
