Doug Collins, not Reggie Millier, is calling the Western Finals for TNT. Also, I think the Western Finals start at 9, not 8:30.

Whoever is with Marv, I expect the broadcast to go on with a full head of steam.

Off topic, but Gus Johnson is supposed to be calling the Kimbo Slice fight on CBS.

I'd much rather hear Kevin Harlen. I think he's better than Marv now. Although you can't complain about Marv.

Uh, you have the dates wrong. Today is Monday the 19th, not the 18th.

Great news about Gus. That'll be fun to watch. I hope TNT axes Reggie Miller. He's terrible. I really like Doug Collins. I don't know why everybody hates him so much.

As a Lakers fan, im so happy the Western Finals are on TNT and not ESPN.

Doug Collins?

TNT needs to hire some analysts who finish their sentences.

I completely botched those dates. Sorry about that, and yes it's DC not RM calling the Western Conference Finals.

@ clutch: The ESPN crews have been better this season, and will be for years to come. Not one of the four great PBP'ers they used in the playoffs is over 50.

You use the term 'great' very loosely. I would not want any of the four over Marv or Harlan.

To tell you the truth, I think everyone has been pretty good in the Playoffs this year. I have the people I'll never be able to stand (Doug Collins), but outside of Dick Stockton who is 90....everyone has been great.

I'll be giving grades out once again and I think ever team will be getting at least a "C" for the first time.

The West Finals games in L.A. are at 9:05 EDT. 8:35 p.m. EDT when in New Orleans or San Antonio.

Any idea who's doing the NBA Finals for ESPN Radio? I know Tirico/Brown did it last year to the chagrin of many Durham/Ramsay lovers.

Why can't ESPN just get rid of Jeff Van Gundy? He annoyed me when he was a coach and he annoys me so much more as an analyst. For as long as I've been watching, his commentary comes across as bland and apathetic. Last time I checked, "color" analysts were supposed to provide commentary with just that: color.

@anon7:31-Have you no regard for human life??? Harlan faking it? You crazy, man. Sure, he's a tad over the top, but, c'mon. It's called doing what you love.

Now about that Doris Burke. The more I hear the more I like. Her reactions /comments following amazing on-court plays are great. She conveys what she's feeling without thinking too much about how to go about it(a la The Reggmeister). Kinda reminds me of an all-time great...D. Enberg. Ohh Myyy!!!
