What is there to do in Boise that 7Terps broke curfew?
I don't think The Fridge is going to want to return to Boise ever again. Besides having his players act like idiots (which they've done all season, apparently), you had his team miss an extra point, and a few minutes later, have the ball fall right off the tee right before the kicker kicked it, thus leading to an unintentional onside kick that Nevada recovered. The Wolfpack just threw an INT in the red zone, but despite them winning 13-7, I imagine Ralph isn't going to have fond memories of this game no matter what.
Anyway, so far it's been entertaining and it looks to be as high scoring as everyone predicted it will be.
Cue the "Cowher-to-Denver" rumors.
/if this is accurate
mort reporting shanahan going back to oakland.
WTF is Roady's?
Hilarious comment from Wischuzen about "twisting his ankle in the shower earlier in the day" but when "Room service showed up, I got there pretty quickly"
Roady's is a truck stop.
And cue the Shanahan to Motown story.
The Lions are still paying Millen; they're gonna go on the cheap.
ESPN listed Nevada backup QB, Nick Graziano as an Eagle Scout. Still better than calling Colin Kaepernick a WAC Off.
Huard just said that Terps LB Wujciak "brings down tacklers".
I'm not sure how that works.
Now he just added, "Maryland would love to bring down this clock in the second half."
I'm not sure that the Terps are trying to run out the clock with 12 minutes left in the third quarter.
I don't remember the exact quote at halftime, but "Roy" Powlus, Lou?
Brock Huard just said the word, "Historicity," when referring to the Rose Bowl.
Huard just said the historicity of the usc/psu matchup....i had to rewind it to verify.
what?
Did anyone hear Huard say "histor-icity" when talking about PSU and USC?
Looks like Huard got a Word-A-Day calendar for Christmas.
"Colin Kaepernick was a man on an eye-line... Island." -Heather Cox
Huard: "And he delivers Montana...Nevada right back into this game."
I'd love to see the Pistol used in NFL. Next year's Wildcat?
"Da'Rell Scott with a 49-yard Touchdown run, Maryland's other three touchdowns were all of 50 yards or more."
Ummm... Maryland has four other touchdowns... Somebody teach Bob to count with his fingers.
The camera man completely bites on the Nevada play action every time.
That's an awful PI call.
And the Fridge won't worry about coming back. The ACC is getting replaced in 2009 for the Humanitarian Bowl by the Mountain West.
Wow, I'm surprised no one caught this gem in the 2nd quarter.
"Standing next to a man who is wearing a tie that can only be deemed a fashion risk. And I'm proud that you took the risk. You're a bold, bold man." - Bob Wischusen
"And I'm proud that after 14 weeks of working together that we're comfortable enough with each other that you can make fun of my tie that my grandmother gave me." - Brock Huard
Good lord, get a room you two, not a broadcast booth!
Switching channels, I had only heard what Brock Huard said.
"The uniforms identify with the historicity of the [Rose Bowl]." - Brock Huard
The fact that I, a history major, did not know that historicity was in fact a word, says more than any of my cheap jokes would. Don't believe me?

Can't the bowl at least get their logo on the field?
