EagleBank Bowl Open Thread

Game: EagleBank Bowl
Location: RFK Stadium, Washington, D.C.
Teams: Wake Forest Demon Deacons (7-5) vs. the U.S. Naval Academy Midshipmen (8-4). If Ram Vela Supermans dat ho Riley Skinner, sure.
Announcers and Network: Terry Gannon, David Norrie, and Quint Kessenich, ESPN
Start: 11 AM (yaaaaaaawnnsleeepy). Coffee, please.
Odds: Wake (-3)
S2N's Pick: Wake's defense over Navy's flexbone attack. I'm guessing that in order to do the post-season Pammies, we're to leave all manner of funny stuff in the comments, and usually, Terry and David are good for a couple of humdingers per game.
You'll be seeing open threads for bowls throughout the day.

Very good play by the defender from Navy, as the holder dropped the extra point snap, already 10-0 Navy.
Effin' awful unis on Wake Forest.
I want my pick back. Alt unis never work.
Off topic: Does anyone have the video of the Mike Singletary skit from Letterman last night? I don't know what the deal was with it, but it was a technical flop (maybe that was the point) and ended up being funnier than whatever they were trying to do.
D-3 game has Pammy and Bentley.
"Desmond's saying there's too many teams in bowl games and Trevor's talking about advertising. Where's the holiday spirit? I got a couple of Grinches over here." - Wendi Nix, during the halftime report.
David Norrie opened the telecast by referring to Wake Forest All-American Alphonso Smith as "Alphonso White".
Is is just me or is Wendi Nix really hot.
Wendi Nix is cute. Not smoking hot, but really cute.
The Stagg Bowl is being played just up the road from me(and practically in my brother's backyard) in Salem, and the illustrious Pam and Ray Show is in full P:ammy mode.
Norrie has been talking about the great pressure Aaron Curry got on the Navy QB on that fourth-down play...I'm fairly sure Curry wasn't even in the game on that play (he certainly wasn't the guy rushing the passer).
I kind of feel sorry for the boys at Navy.
"Gatorade turns to ice fast. Well, I guess Gatorade wouldn't turn to ice. Water would."
Just awful.
Annnndddd.... Mt. Union wins its eleventy-billionth D-III football title. All hail the mighty Purple Raiders.
We can credit Bazooka Jones' quote @ 2:01 to Terry Gannon. Nice to see they have a good science program at North Carolina State...
I'm surprised no one caught this little beauty from Trevor Matich in the studio between the EagleBank Bowl and the New Mexico Bowl.
"Because [Arizona] has not been to a bowl game in a decade, a lot of people thought that they will win a bowl game when Hell froze over. Well it's been snowing in Las Vegas and some people think that parts of Vegas just may qualify." - Trevor Matich
I'd actually consider those same parts of Vegas that Matich deems Hell to be Heaven, if you know what I mean.
Sorry for the lateness of this, but frankly, I've been busy all day and I'm just getting around to watching the games now on my DVR. And I am planning on watching all of them and catching up (sometime, most likely Monday cause tomorrow is NFL day). I'll only post the golden ones that I see were somehow missed, and unless someone got the Matich one in another thread I didn't check for reasons of avoiding spoilers...
"It looks like that they called time-out just before they snapped the ball." Terry Gannon
Most of the commercials are for Navy businesses.
Hopefully, someone can put some quotes out for this game.
