Woods, Jeter And Federer Stayin' Alive For Gillette
Thursday, April 16, 2009
I don't know what it is with Sports commercials lately, but they've been popping up all over the place. Gillette's latest effort, which debuted on the big screen at Yankee Stadium today, features it's three pitchmen (Tiger Woods, Roger Federer, and Derek Jeter) walking through New York City ala John Travolta in "Saturday Night Fever". Here's your first look....
Pretty entertaining, and certainly much better than the last couple of commercials from Gillette. Now try to get that song out of your head for the rest of the night.

I love commercials with no point!
And that is not a New York City subway.

That was probably filmed on a back lot in Burbank or something. Those three, on a New York street, with no one around for blocks? Yeah, that would be likely.

I miss Thierry Henry. =[
If they had to do so, they should have just replaced him with James Blake...half the U.S. would not have noticed the difference.
