People Take Reality Television Too Seriously

Monday, June 18, 2007

The Bachelor starring Mark Philippoussis starts tonight, and people are already ragging on the show....

But just as he's getting to know them, it's time to narrow the field, and what better way to do that than to take three of them on a date and learn about what makes them tick. Rather than wine and roses, their bonding activity is rappelling down a building in downtown L.A. The show's premise, at this point, goes from ridiculous to laughable.
You know....come to think of it.....this is how the Awful GF and I met. But seriously, can we just take the show for what it is? It's supposed to be ridiculous, the women are supposed to be catty, and the dates are supposed to be outrageous. Just turn your brain of for a moment and enjoy people just being utterly ridiculous. You might have some fun.

And please don't tell the Awful GF, but I might actually watch this. NBC 9PM.

(P.S.- Wow. Don't know how Mark let the one above get away. Good lord.)

I will be watching this at work, most likely. This is too trashy to not be good in the "horrific" way.

There is NO way you should be watching this over Hell's Kitchen and finding out if "Vince McMahon is dead"!!!
