The SASHSG Returns!
Friday, June 27, 2008
The Stephen A. Smith Heckling Society of Gentleman had a lot to deal with this Draft, but somehow they still pulled it off. I'm proud to give the 2008 edition....
I can't believe Kevin Love dropped the Cheez Doodlez line! He just became my favorite player even though he's probably been traded again and I have no idea what team he's on. As far as S.A.S...it's kind of sad actually. As bad as the coverage last night was, I almost missed him on the main stage. Almost.
Bravo sirs!

hilarious!!
I will now and forever associate "Mad World" with Stephen A. Smith. Tough balls, Donnie Darko!
Hilarious. High comedy, indeed.
At least SAS didn't describe Beasley as having great "second jumpability" a la The Bilastrator.
haha... i'm thinking of restarting quite frankly! in my garage! good stuff.
I had never seen the originals before this. I've now spent a good half hour laughing my ass off. This is awesome.
the originals were classics!!
"You could be the best forward since Slava Medevedenko! Your brother could be the second-best forward since Slava Medevedenko!"
Hilarious. Simply hilarious.
Kevin Love is my new favorite player.
I'm actually depressed now. I rooted so hard against SAS for so long that I feel responsible for this...
Screw SAS. I remember him on the Fox sport's BDSS hammering on David Robinson a few years ago. Out of all the scab players the NBA has SAS would have to pick an upstanding player and person in David Robinson to give hell too.
SAS gets what it coming to him.
I did notice on one of the early picks that Stuart Scott said something to SAS like: "Can you handle this interview?" in the joking, ribbing, annoying sort of way and SAS responded: "It looks like I have no choice."
I think SAS was bitter he was back there doing interviews and not flapping his gum on the main stage.
