Yeah, I agree.
I guess this is the best place to state this, but I have on Sportscenter now (as background noise) and two minutes ago, they were talking about big catches, and they referenced the one in a million catch that was made in last year's Super Bowl. Now, you think that with that kind of catch, you'd remember who made it.
They mentioned the catch, and one of them (I'm not sure who, but note that no one objected to the comment) stated that it was PLAXICO BURRESS who made the catch. Do you spot the error? Typical ESPN...
I agree with you guys. McAulay will definitley be talked about tomorrow.
What a game, though. For a game where going into it I really could not care who won or lost, I found myself rooting hard for the Cards as the game progressed, I even screamed when Fitzgerald got the touchdown (despite doing the exact opposite 2 weeks ago), and my heart was pounding during those last few minutes. That was a lot of fun.
It's quite a shame that this will have that "what if" shroud of controversy around it regarding that last fumble by Warner. I thought the arm was moving forward...
I agree, they should have reviewed the last play just so there was no cloud hanging over it. But ESPN is now saying that the replay officials upstairs have confirmed that it was a fumble.
Agree, I don't get how you not review one of the last plays of the SUPERBOWL. Give me a break.
Also how was Harrison not thrown out of the game for his ridiculous penalty? I haven't seen that talked about on ESPN.
HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO.
The refs got involved with this one. If they get involved too much, people will notice when they aren't involved. Strange times, Goodell is a jackass.
See, that's why you don't fuck with the Terrible Towel, you idiots..."why wasn't Harrison thrown out, sniff, whine, complain..."
Trent Dilfer needs to get MUCH more camera time and Cris Carter needs to be shot.

I thought it was an error too, but after watching the replay I realized Levy was referring to Burress' game winning catch last year with :35 seconds left in comparison to Holmes' game-winner. He wasn't referring to the Tyree catch.
Even after sleeping on it for a night and watching it again now, I'm still seeing Warner's arm going forward before he lost possession of the ball.
And even if they did "review it" as Michaels and ESPN said they did, there is no way they could take a clear look at that and determine for sure in those 30 seconds.
I have nothing against the Steelers but it's a shame that this game had to end with that little controversy. And a 50-yarder Warner-to-Fitzgerald hail mary is a definite possibility.
Unlikely it changes the outcome of the game, but the lack of replay on that final fumble/incompletion was a disgrace.
