I know, LeBron - things are not going well

(posted by OMDQ)

There's no way of knowing if the game is actually as horrifyingly painful as the box score makes it appear (well, that's not exactly true - I guess I could watch it and find out for myself), but it sure looks that way. When Tim Duncan and Tony Parker alone are trailing Cleveland by just two points, it's probably not good.

Looks like LeBron can't shoot, nobody else on the Cavs can get involved in the offense, free throws might as well be half-court shots, and nobody can stop San Antonio's Big Three. Other than that, Mike Brown's boys are right in this thing.

If it's all the same to you, I think I'll stick with Joe, Jon and the comforting suckitude of ESPN Sunday Night Baseball. (Did I really just write that?) Well, until it's over - then the NBA on ABC is really the only option.

is it safe to say Jeff Van Gundy is ginormous douche bag...like the cleveland bashing and the jokes arent funny...for example he said 5 teams in the west could beat the cavs in a series...really id like to see his Rockets try against Cleveland, you know LeBron would beat the piss out of the Rockets

Did you just see the play where Ryan Dempster fell down?

They keep talking about Willie Harris making it to homeplate fast, and Jon Miller says something like....ooh it looks like Dempster could be hurt.

OH YOU THINK?!?!?! While you're blabbing about Willie Harris they showed 14 replays of Ryan Dempster practically tearing an ACL and falling over on the mound.

Do you think the guys in the truck have over/unders on how many replays it takes them to mention something? I say the average is 4.5.

Gus- I heard that, and combine it with Mark Jackson's trashing of San Antonio I think they plan on getting both cities pissed at them.

"What is Lebron going to do besides watch film....there's nothing to do in San Antonio?"- MJ
"Do you want to take that back Mark."- MB
"Oh I've had a fabulous time here the River Walk is uhhh... great."- MJ

AA - I would love to know some of the prop bets that take place in the production truck.

Looks like LeBron and company are making a game of this, huh?

Ummm...No.

But valiant effort....If anyone played as hard as Gibson they'd have a chance.

its okay game 3 is going to be crazy...i think the city may blow whether they win or the refs continue to miss important travels with a huge comeback on the line (see Parker)

My favorite part is also your choice of picture OMDQ.....don't think Jeff McGinnis is still on the team.

Reminds me, hopefully, of last season's series with Detroit where we were blown out the first two games there but made a furious 4th quarter comeback in game 2 and used that mo' to win 3 in a row...I'm just keeping the hope.

My fav moment of the Cubs-Braves was Andruw Jones was at bat about two pitches before that Dempster WP and Jon says to Joe what kind of pitch was that? Joe then goes on a two minute diatribe about how hitting coach Terry Pendleton has been working with Jones on his stance. Not one word about the pitch.

The stupidest thing that came out of Mark Jackson's mouth, was when he was talking about Zydrunas Ilgauskas' hook shot. He said it was just like how Kareem Abdul-Jabbar did it. WHAT?! This actually makes me long for Hubie Brown.
