ESPN Has Officially Run Out Of Stuff To Talk About In Regards To Brett Favre
Thursday, July 24, 2008
You would think it would be hard for a 24-7 Sports Network to run out of stuff to talk about in regards to a subject, but it officially happened to ESPN this morning. First Take decided to dust off the ESPN Photoshop Department (located in the janitor's closet behind Studio D) and put them to work on what Favre would look like in other team's uniforms. Who cares if blogs did this three weeks ago, or that FOX Sports did it as well (complete with taped on heads), the world needs ESPN's take!
Here is their rendition....
Not a bad job actually. It looks like they took some time and didn't mess around....oh wait....spoke to soon....
Ugh. About the only thing that came from this that I can approve of is Favre in an Arena League jersey and Stephen A. Smith slowly losing his mind on set. That guy cannot stand this story AT ALL.
Top this NFL Live! Bet you can't.

How come he doesn't get to be a captain in Minnesota and Oakland?
waiting for your post about the changes at ESPN.com. In addition to a huge cover story about their new blog (although they're not into blogs), which you already reported on, they switched the sidebar so Simmons and Reilly are now side by side, equal billing if you will.
It's funny becuase I was just thinking about that the other day, why Simmons, who is warring with the WWL and taking a summer sabbatical, was on top of Reilly, who is their new poster boy. Guess they thought the same thing.
Not to get all UniWatch-y up in here, but the Raiders' facemask is supposed to be silver, not black
I agree with Stephen A. Smith.
I'll take "Words I'd never thought I'd say" for $500, Alex Trebek.
Wait, when did Geoff Jenkins get traded to both the Yankees and the Mets?
Here is Brett Favre as a former member of the Milwaukee Brewers. Oh wait, that's Geoff Jenkins.
This is definitely a sign that they're scraping the bottom of the barrel for something to talk about with Favre. Hey ESPN, here's an idea: TALK ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE!!!
I love that they decided to put Favre in baseball uniforms, but of course, they did it for the only teams that matter, the New York teams.
