Honey, I Know You Hate Baseball, but you HAVE to Watch this Inning!!!

This is perhaps one of the oddest promotions I've ever come across. Taco Bell is famous for these sorts of things, but this particular one is even more unique than National Taco Day or Buying the Liberty Bell.

Taco Bell, MLB’s official QSR, is offering a promotion in which fans can post a marriage proposal on the virtual sign behind home plate during a nationally televised game on July 7. The date was chosen “because of its unique number sequence – 07-07-07 – and to promote” the restaurant’s new 7-layer Crunchwrap. Fans have until May 27 to submit “seven reasons why your significant other would be lucky to marry you.” The winner gets the televised proposal and a year’s supply of Taco Bell food.
Hell, I might do it just for the free Taco Bell. I'm sure the Awful GF would be stoked, but she hates baseball on TV, so she may never see it. Actually wait......that's perfect.

Nothing says love like an overlying graphic proposal and a Big Beef Burrito Supreme.

What is not so crazy about this, is that 7-7-7 has been booked up for weddings in Vegas for a longggg while now.

My wife is hoping our kid is born on 7-7-07. I think she's been hitting the bottle.
