So Long, Class, And Thanks For Not Throwing Things
Sunday, January 25, 2009
I suppose AA won't mind if I borrow the "Announcement" tag for this one.
It's been fun having the run of this place on weekends, keeping track of the Pammies, and spending the majority of the NFL season with y'all around in the comments section. But, all good things must come to an end at some point. As our Fearless Leader noted last weekend, I was in the Pacific Northwest last weekend. It was for a job interview, and I officially accepted the offer and signed a contract this week.
The problem is that I'll be working weekends again, and it seems like as good a time as any to drop out of the whole blogging thing for a while. I've got to plan out a move, find an apartment, get the hell up there by March 1st, and all kinds of other things.
So a heartfelt thanks is in order to all of you who frequent this site, and to AA for giving me a larger platform for two days a week. And I'm not saying goodbye....just saying.

Say hi to Cowherd's mom for us...
The Pacific NW? Would that happen to be Washington?
Man, I'm going to miss having you here on weekends, good luck with your new job.
Congratulations and good luck, S2N. Pam Ward losing track of which down it is just won't be the same.
Good luck with the new job. Gonna miss the Phillip Rivers hatred during the live blogs.
Best of luck, man. Really enjoyed your work - especially during college football season!
Congrats but now what the hell am I gonna do when I am bored in class and at work? Thanks for all the help and time wasting!
Calvin...you have class and work on the weekends?
Good luck, S2N. I know we all wish you the very best and hope you'll be a frequent visitor to the open threads / live blogs in the future. We'll need your help counting the band shots during Fox's final year with the BCS!
Good luck man. You've always been great around here.
G'luck brother
SSR - I'm moving to Portland.
Again, thank you all very much.
Yup.....work and class on the weekend happens when you are 21 getting ready to graduate from college.
And during the week the videos and random quotes help too.
We need to post the "HELP WANTED" sign ASAP for twe weekend slot.
Good luck.
We're still allowed to follow your Twitter feed though, right?
Are they hiring?
Best of luck on the new assignment, AA will be hard-pressed to find someone with such a good sports knowledge and writing style.

Thanks for all the work. Has anyone called dibs on your mom's basement?
Congrats on the job! And hopefully we will see you around again sometime soon.
