Rey Maualuga Freaks Erin Andrews Before The Rose Bowl

Monday, January 05, 2009

I think I've found a new favorite athlete out there, and after you view this video, I'm pretty sure he'll be yours as well. A fan in the stands at the Rose Bowl captured this hilarious clip of USC Linebacker, Rey Maualuga, sneaking up behind Erin Andrews before the game, and give her a little bit of the "business"....

Now that my friends is comedy. The sheer fact that he shrugs his shoulders afterward is going to keep me smiling all morning. Bravo sir!

EA has always been prejudiced against dancing Samoans.

You think harassment of a working professional is funny? Imagine if some of you went up to women at work and did that behind their back and someone video taped it. How long would you still have a job?

More classlessness from USC and Maualuga, and the fact that the media (if you can call this blog the media) glorifies it makes it that much worse. Bravo AA, bravo...

Another reason to hate USC.

If your favorite athlete is a douchebag, I think that makes you one, too.

Come on people quit being so damn serious. It was funny and clearly meant to be a joke. Can't anybody screw around anymore.

The people getting all upset about this think that Erin Andrews will have sex with them because they defended her.

No, AA, you're not a misogynist. Not at all.

You're wrong, Mike. I'm not defending EA, I just don't find anything amusing about sexual harassment. How would you like it if that happened to say, your sister or mother? Would it be funny then?

totally classless move. I suppose it's funny until, you know, it's not. And people wonder why athletes and their women always end up on the police blotter? It starts with basic human decency and respect. Good to know that Pete Carroll has schooled that into his troops.

I agree with the majority of the posts. It's not the biggest deal and I'm sure he meant it as a joke, but in the end it's not a joke - it's harassment.

If my mother or sister got their job and became famous because of their good looks, then I would not be shocked when some jackass did something like this.

Is he a jackass? Maybe, but I'm fairly certain he was thinking the same thing every 22 year old male in that stadium was thinking.

Is it funny? Yes.

Are you people overreacting like crazy? Yes.

Mike, I appreciate what you're saying, but let's just say I had a sideline pass to the game and went behind EA and did that to her. Would I be able to skink away like nothing happened? Thinking about doing something and actually doing it are completely different things.
