I Didn't Think They Sold Beer At Tournament Games

Monday, March 24, 2008

At least they didn't in DC during the 2006 Tournament. This guy seems to have imbibed at some point during UCLA's first round action though....

My favorite part of the whole thing is how he somehow brought Korn's album "Follow the Leader" into the dance. I have no idea what that means but it made me laugh. Also, dancing for 2 minutes straight that intense is pretty impressive.

I actually think seeing this is WORSE than watching the McDonald's Filet O Fish commercial 30 times over the first two rounds of games.

they always sell beer at the big east tourney at the garden. it might be some sort of thing to do with the contract they get with the venue. all i know is that i'm for it, even if it means that guy has to be there

Are you sure that that wasn't Simmons?

You have to give the guy credit. He went to the Pac-10 Finals at Staples two Saturday's ago, and then did the night-cap at the Big West tournament. He's got crazy energy, and doesn't appear to be drinking.

I thought the rule was

"no beer in the stands, but alcohol in the luxury boxes."

He's at EVERY UCLA game. Showed up midway through the UCLA-Oragon game I went to a few weeks back, and he spent the second half trying to make up for lost attention-whoring time.
