Media Approval Ratings And "The Trevy"
Friday, February 29, 2008
This clip via Deadspin is just about the most hilarious thing ever put together. Not only is Trev Alberts debating when Sportscasters became Famous and talking about blogs, but he even gives himself a nickname.
The Trevy? Okaaaay. I would have gone with "The Trevster" or "Trevulan the Great", but The Trevy??? Oh and to answer your question Trev....I can't pinpoint the exact moment but seek Chris Berman and Stuart Scott to find your answer.
(Also, Trev Alberts is still alive?)

If you're questioning when sportscasters became famous and media attention was turned away from just the highlights shouldn't you be giving us just the highlights and not discussing blogs and polls? I didn't see a single slam dunk in that piece.
What are with these other Sprint clips: Steve Smith's Top 5 Backcourts? Marshall Faulk's NASCAR and Basketball picks? Brad Muster, I mean, Tom Waddle's Top 5 Quarterback busts? Yawn.
He's dire need of a new hair stylist
Yes, but he's still very handsome. I miss watching Trev.
And he's 100% correct.
The Trevster...likely relegated to makin' copies.
I approve of the Trevi Fountain.
Is that a panorama of Winnipeg behind him?
I see a niche for Sean Salisbury here.
