ESPN Airing NIT Selection Show To Go Along With Tournament Coverage

I would almost certainly be watching this to see who Maryland draws in the first round, but alas...I don't get ESPNU. So not only will ESPN have four hours of coverage of the NCAA Tournament it will add another hour for the NIT. Good times. Here's their schedule if you plan on not watching CBS on Selection Sunday....

Hey AA, how 'bout a post about UConn women's basketball violating recruiting rules by arranging a tour at ESPN? Hilarious. I always knew that it was purely accidental that UConn athletics only became relevant after ESPN became all-powerful. HA!
Joe Lunardi will be spending that night trying to come up with excuses for why he was wrong.
Lets just say the first segment with Mr Knight was funny with him and Digger.
I think they had the NIT selection show multiple years in the past too, actually.
Did CSTV's College Basketball Invitational go the way of the All-American Football League & dissolve? I remember they were supposed to compete for teams this year that were NIT eligible.
The CBI is still going on, in fact, it has a deal with Fox College Sports.
Thanks, joe. Just in case Syracuse or Maryland doesn't get into the "prestigious" and "NCAA-sanctioned" NIT, they've got options (kidding, AA).
This'll be a departure from the normal programming of high-school girls volleyball and college coaches shows from the Atlantic Sun Conference usually on FCS.
UConn became relevant in 1990 and 1991 (men and women respectively), both before ESPN was near as dominant as it now is.
