ESPN To Debut Newest SC Commercial At The Garden Tonight (Updated With Video)
Wednesday, April 23, 2008
There's yet another Sports Center commercial with the Big Three, and ESPN has sent it to Boston for it to be debut during tonight's game against the Hawks. Via The Boston Herald....
ESPN will unveil a new “This is SportsCenter” TV spot starring Boston Celtics [team stats] Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce [stats] on the Jumbotron during tonight’s game against the Hawks. The silly spot, called “Fashion Faux Pas,” features SportCenter anchor Steve Levy making fun of the Big Three’s sense of style. Like he’s Mr. GQ.I'm going to try and get a hold of the video so you can check it out before then, but that actually sounds kind of funny. Anything has to be better than the Pat Summitt one.
Update: Got a hold of the video. Sorry for the quality but it was the best I could do.....
Annnnnnd.....not funny. Go Hawks!

Awesome! More Boston! Thanks ESPN!
Why not get someone like Chris Paul or Deron Williams for once?
Didn't they already do a Boston Trio commercial?
@gmoney:
What are you talking about? Garnett is in those Gatorade "League of Clutch" commercials. Wait. How is that possible?
Rick James Bible Owner, of course he's in those ads. Think of all those Finals he's won...oh wait, that's Tim Duncan. Nevermind.
Agreed with Anon #1. Chris Paul is shaping up to be the best point guard since Magic Johnson. I guess because he doesn't play in the Center Of The Universe he's irrelevant.
Kyle, not to quibble on Chris Paul & SportsCenter ads, but:

Very dated, but it's not like Deron Williams has one. I do agree with you; KG deserves to be in those Gatorade ads as much as Flip Saunders does.
Uh, the Garden?
There's only one Garden.
Covered with MSG from Zeke's popcorn enterprise.
It's definitely funny, especially if you've worked in an office where people make comments when three guys all wear (gasp!) white shirts/blue shirts/red ties, etc.
I look forward to Kevin Garnett once again showing his playoff mettle this summer. The choke will be glorious.
