Madden 2009 "Through The Years" Trailer

Monday, April 28, 2008

I'm sure a lot of you are like me in that you've been playing Madden since it's inception. Well given the 20th year of the game (doesn't that make you feel old) coming out this August, EA has put together a video of Favre highlights throughout the years....

Pretty intense as far as video game commercials go. I also wonder if Brett Favre is going to just be a Free Agent in the game or if you'll have to unlock him through some complicated skills competition. Let the Madden hype machine commence!

AA, Brett will be in Madden as part of an "NFL Greats" team.

The info was revealed in an interview on Gametap with one of the lead designers for Madden NFL 09.

Jesus, that jumps around so much I'm glad I don't have epilepsy. I couldn't focus on any of that. What a mess. EA sucks.

All this video shows is that over the 20 years of designing this game less than 5 things have changed. I guess EA missed the memo that says innovation is the key to expanding a customer base.
