Andre Ware is just terrible.

Nate Davis graduated tops in his class from the Daunte Culpepper/Kurt Warner School of Fumbling.

By the way, that The Ladders ad with the monsters, with said monsters being f'ing Guilala from the cult Japanese giant movie from the 60's known as The X From Outer Space is totally amazing. I mean, Guilala appearing in a 2009 ad is awesome in so many ways.

Oh yeah, and the game itself is fun so far, although Nate Davis seems to be choking under the pressure.

There's a bowl game tonight?

The only way this could be worse for Whitlock is if Jeff George was turning the ball over out there.

Yeah, Andre Ware isn't too good. He keeps on misspeaking and stumbling over his words, and just a minute ago-after he needlessly mentioned USC, as is standard ESPN policy-used the phrase "water talk" instead of "water cooler talk". Why does he still have a job?

And lol at a player LOUDLY yelling "Goddammit!" just a moment ago.

Pasch: "Lots of mobility here in Mobile."

And lay off Andre Ware. He's one of the best football analysts. Period.

/Jason Whitlock (#8 on the list)

apparently dave pasch is deaf because the whistle blew on that play 10 seconds before nate davis scored there

Ware: "We need to get Dickie V on a college football broadcast."

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Ware: "You mentioned we had a pretty clean game out there on penalties, and now it's raining flags out there."

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the GMAC midfield logo/jersey patches are wrong. It says 10th anniversary 1999-2009. Wouldn't the 10th anniversary be 2008?

Rockchalk: No. 2000 was the 1st anniversary of the 1st game. That would make the 2009 edition the 10th anniversary of the first game (but the 11th overall). at least that's the way I understand it.

Ware: "This is the GMAC Bowl: General Motors Acceptance Corporation Bowl. A little education for you."

Thanks. I thought the G-Mac Bowl was named after Syracuse shooter Gerry McNamara.

Ware: "We're heading for that 67 inches."

Jan 6, 2009, 10:34:00 PM

Technically, there was no game played in 2006, as the game was moved from December to January. This is in fact the 10th anniversary.

ESPN isn't even trying to mute on the field comments tonight. Just a minute ago a player said, "Awww shit, here it goes!" once that punt landed on the ground.

Andre Ware is such an idiot. He commended a Ball State player for jumping on a punt that Ball State had blocked rather than trying to scoop it and run. This was on a play that had 5 Ball State players around the ball. There was no way the Tulsa punt team was going to recover the ball and run the 10-15 yards needed to get a first down. Ball State actually blew a chance to get an easy touchdown on the blocked punt, but Ware is not bright enough to realize this.

Ware also pissed me off by ruining the trivia question during the game. The question was what state had won the most bowl games so far this season. Ware responds by saying, "This is an easy one... for me." This easily gave away the answer as Ware is from Texas and is a Houston alum. Thanks alot Andre, you moron.
