Deanna/Brett Favre MNF Intro

Monday, October 29, 2007

I think Deanna Favre is courageous woman, but this is a little much for a Week Nine Monday Night Matchup if you ask me. I'll let you be the judge....

More to come on this tomorrow, but I'm going on record and proclaiming that Deanna Favre was the best guest MNF has ever had. I'm not kidding either....no matter how cheesy and unneccesary this intro was.

Deanna was the best guest ever, that's true. But ... The Brett Favre love is just so freaking over the top. I really can't take it. Tom Brady thinks this is too much.

It was so sickly sweet that I got diabetes from watching it...

The "we are survivors" is a little unnerving because she was referring to him continuing to play football despite him being past his prime as if that somehow equates to surviving cancer.

It felt like they were trying to canonize Brett Favre tonight. But he proved that he was worth the build-up with that overtime win...

Where's the video of Peter King sucking Brett Favre off?

Sterling Sharpe got a lil' misty at this montage.

Wahhhhh, Brett's not QB'ing my team so I'll talk bad about him...wahhhhh.
BRETT RULES and you'd all love to see him suit up in your team's colors.

Don't hate...appreciate. There are much worse things to complain about than a heartfelt testimony to a man who is a great player that has stood by his team for so many years, despite ups & downs. Oh yeah, and I'm thinking the reference to them being survivors might have to do with the passing of his father and other family members and the announcement that his wife has cancer within a span of what, three years. Maybe?
