Welcome Back Gilbert

Wednesday, October 31, 2007

Yeah Yeah Yeah. The Wizards lost in overtime, but after the injury plagued 2nd half of the season last year I just happy to see Gilbert back doing what he does best. Hitting Daggers....

P.S.- Can you PLEASE make some free throws next game?!?! That's all I ask.

As a diehard Wiz fan...that was not a good sign last night, if we can't even play defense against a bunch of 2nd string players, it will be a long season on the road. I truly believe Eddie Jordan is not a good coach. His rotations on the floors and the plays he draws up after timeouts are atrocious...the only reason he has had any success is because he's had 3 all-stars on his team for the last few seasons, i mean that last play was not a good designed play, its just arenas being so clutch in the end. I'm assuming all he does in practice is run the princeton offense, not defense. How we did not address the need to obtain a good big man will haunt us in the end, just like it does every year....b. haywood is just god awful

At least you aren't a Cavs fan this morning. Ugh. But then again, the Cavs didn't lose to the worst team in the East either.

A standing room only, and they're all standing.

Okay........

I wouldn't really call it a 'DAGGER!'
as it didn't put the team away.

I would classify it as a "SIGNIFICANT WOUND!"

The Wizards need to learn to play some defense before they can considered to be an Eastern Conference contender, but watching Gilbert hit another buzzer beater makes me proud to be a Wizards fan. Who needs Kobe? With Arenas opting out, expect a huge season from him, but unfortunately this team just isn't good enough to make a run in the playoffs.

I've been reading this blog for awhile, and it's awesome. I love the posts on here, including the Pammy Standings. That is great. I was wondering if you wanted to exchange links with me. My blog is at dailysportsinfo.blogspot.com and is called The Sports Lounge. I have already added yours to my list of links, and am requesting that you do the same. Thanks, and keep up the great work.
