Rich Chvotkin Believe Wallace Got Fouled
Friday, February 15, 2008
Once you can get past the split screen setup of the video this call by Georgetown's radio announcer Rich Chvotkin is hilarious. Via DC Sports Bog....
That's just about as homerific as you can get.
Rich Chvotkin Believes Wallace Got Fouled (DC Sports Bog)
(FYI- I'm heading out of town this afternoon, so there's not going to be any AA until later tonight. Just keep watching this video over and over again.)

I wonder what else he believes in?
That's pretty funny. The guy doesnt make one commment on how it might not have been a foul. BTW at 2:34 a hot chick walks past him in the backround.
Wow. That's awful. I mean, I've heard one-sided announcing before, but this?
Wow.
At 2:22 he must have busted a button on his shirt. You can see his old man gut at the bottom.
Also, why does he have a web-cam but for our pleasure?
Johnny Most thinks he's a homer.
With a name like that, shouldn't he be announcing games for the Kamloops Blazers???
I believe that other dude plays for Kansas.
i'd LOVE to see the video of his call when that dude threw the ball to james worthy.
Sometimes, I totally forget I'm not in my mother's basement in my underwear and I just randomly launch a loud fart/belch in the office. Kinda embarrassing.
I wish more games were called this way. Instead we get Joe Buck.
His "Hoyas Win!" around the 2:20 mark sounds eerily like Carl's "Giants Win!" after the Super Bowl (or was it NFC Championship?).
I believe for every drop of rain that falls, a flower grows.
skip bayless: "this was a knee to the hip..."
Can you imagine if this guy called Miami Heat games?
PS: If Dwayne Wade and Greg Paulus ended up guarding each other, would the refs call a foul on every possession? And who would they call it on?
Imagine if he worked for Duke...
I couldnt undertand if he said we got fouled or not, but to stand up and cheer is pretty bad.
I'm sure the rest of the pro-Georgetown DC sports media is defending this call to no end
Not one call has gone against Georgetown this entire season.
This was among the worst calls I've ever seen, and it gave the game to G'town.
The "I believe he got fouled" over and over and over isn't excitement, it's obnoxious.
Thanks to this guy I will now root against Georgetown for the remainder of the season and especially during the tourney.
Clearly none of you have heard his call of Georgetown-Vandy last year in the NCAA's.
"HOYAS WIN! HOYAS WIN! HOYAS WIN! HOYAS WIN! HOYAS WIN! HOYAS WIN!"
Do you think that's bad? What if I told you he did that ELEVEN MORE TIMES.
By the way, I believe he got fouled.
