ESPN Airs Umpire F-Bomb
Sunday, April 06, 2008
See these are the things I actually want to hear. It's already 10pm on a Sunday and if your kids are up to hear and audible F-bomb by an umpire (after AJ Pierzynski let's a fastball get by) then I don't know why to tell you.

I'm not saying people getting hit in their head is/was awesome, but....that was awesome. It's like something you would say when you just got knocked out...fuuuuuuuuck. I would actually pay money to watch an AFV type show with athletes and umpires getting hit by pitches, just to hear what they'd say. Good stuff ESPN....leave the mics open! Screw the FCC!

Trust me, kids hear profanity in their own household and at school, to hear it on tv isn't anything new and the umpire just reacted to getting hit in the head with a ball, it was the spur of the moment he didnt have time to think of what he was going to say just because he was miced up or on tv.
Right, but you forgot to mention that Joe went off on this tangent that "even though you're wearing the mask, it still hurts". Really, Koe? Getting pelted in face by a 90 mph piece of cheddar hurts? No shit.
The FCC can't do anything about something that happens on cable tv.
OH...MY GOD...FUUUUUUUCK
haha priceless
I think that was actually AJ talking. Just what I thought, I am pretty sure I recognized AJ's voice and not the umps.
Yeah. He was thinking "Oh my god.. I let the fastball by. Fuck."
AA just wants to see more shows for Tom Bergeron.
I'm pretty sure AJ Pierzynski says the first part and the umpire follows with the f-bomb. I could be wrong though.
Joe Morgon: Make no doubt about it, that hurts.
NO SHIT. Is that why he fell over backwards and went to the ground? I thought he was collecting dirt samples.
And the fact now I have to listen to him on Wednesday's to sucks even more!
I think AJ said OMG while Kellogg said the F-Bomb.
Anyway, how would you react being hit in the grill, despite the protection, at 90+ MPH?
I love how Miller quickly wanted to go to the sound.
at :38, the Tigers trainer shows his tooth/teeth? It's either one tooth or two teeth that look like a hamster.
Bad news. It's been pulled!:( Probably by ESPN in their zeal to sanitize everything. Sorry, folks, it's already happened and there's nothing you can do about it.
Am I the only one who doesn't hear the f-bomb? I hear, "Oh my God, fuhhh."
That was good stuff. I'm glad that ESPN played that despite the F-bomb being aubible and didn't feel the need to appologize for the word.
