Familar Faces In New Places: McNabb Into A Booth?

Monday, June 11, 2007

Yeah, I thought that headline was odd too, but it's the truth. Donovan McNabb was actually an analyst for a Pro Football game this past weekend....of course there's a catch...

"What do the Eagles do in their off-season? Apparently serve as analysts for NFL Europe games. Quarterback Donovan McNabb will be the analyst for today's noon game on the NFL Network between the Frankfurt Galaxy (6-2) and Hamburg Sea Devils (5-3). McNabb will be joined by play-by-play man Bob Papa.

Offensive tackle Jon Runyan has also served as an analyst for the games. Instead of traveling to Europe, the announcers provide commentary from NFL Films' studios in Mount Laurel."
I know you think I mute my TV and do this in my living room, but this seems boring as hell. You're just basically sitting there and watching Football while trying to keep a conversation with a person 4,000 miles away.
