Can We Contract The O's?
Thursday, August 23, 2007
I don't care if they are my hometown team or not. I don't care if Eddie Murray is the only person besides my dad I've ever called a hero. I'm done with the Orioles, and I'm done with Baseball. Thanks Angelos.
P.S.- The above statement is subject to change during the Winter Meetings when the Orioles promise to trade for a Power Hitter. Welcome to the team Tremblay.

Yeah, when your team's pitchers give up 13 hits, four homers, and 16 RBIs to the lower third of the order in one game, you got problems.
"That's more like an NFL score!"
I wouldn't be surprised if this was how SportsCenter covered the story (since they love to turn every "ordinary" story into a story about a big team or a celebrity athlete):
"The Rangers scored 30 runs tonight. But if they wouldn't have traded A-Rod to the Yankees, imagine how many runs they would have scored!"
A very, very bad day to be an Orioles fan. But I'm a Giants fan, so I've also suffered... all season long.
You DO have a power hitter...his name is Kevin Millar.
Check out what I had to say over at http://hallofverygood.blogspot.com
Enjoy!
Hell of a way for Trembley to say "Thanks, boss, for extending my contract."
Yeah cause the last few times they brought in a power hitter (Tejada, Sosa, Palmeiro) things worked out so well.
The only thing that will set this team straight is trading for a NEW OWNER!
Boog Powell is rolling over in his grave.
He's Not?
Boog Powell is rolling over at his BBQ stand.
"I could do better than that crap."

Could be worse.
It could've been the Yankees.
You should hope they promise to trade for some pitching, is the problem.
