Meatloaf Would Like You To Comment On How Beckham Changed Your Life

Thursday, August 16, 2007

Look, I know I'm over doing this whole ESPN.com mistake thing, and I know it's tough to edit thousands of pictures and links. But this is pretty blatant and it's happening every single day. He Rob King.....before you call out a site in a random interview you might want to question the person who's putting the photos up for the "ever important" polls on your site (click photos for larger view). Just a suggestion....

Okay....hold on.....(hahahahaha).....Alright, where do we start?

First, the question is "How did Beckham's goal change your life?". Riiiiight....okay. Moving on. Second, the photo is actually doubled on the site from a Jeff Pearlman interview with Meatloaf. Yes.....Meatloaf. Third, oh forget it. I give up.

The Over/Under is set at 4 hours until this is removed......I'm taking all bets in the comments now.

UPDATE: It only took about 30 minutes to get it right. You're getting better ESPN, but Meatloaf loved the attention. Poor Meatloaf.

It's gone now, not too shabby, ESPN. Other than, you know, putting up an errant picture of Meatloaf in the first place.

I think the more prudent question is "How has Meatloaf changed your life?"

I watched Meat Loaf play in the celebrity softball game over the allstar break in Pittsburgh 1994 and my life has never been the same.

The air is sweeter. Food tastes better. Syphillis burns less.

Does Jeff Pearlman EVER write anything that isn't related to New York City? There are 49 other states out there, you know.

Maybe the employee at ESPN.com graduated from the same university that Steve Phillips did?
