Get Ready To See Under Armour Baseball Commercials Everywhere

Thursday, October 04, 2007

Under Armour has decided to get into the world of baseball cleats and have released another one of those Click Clack commercials surrounding the product. If you're not a baseball player why should you care you ask?

Well they're going to be more spots for this than there were for Frank TV last night.....

The ad features Braves P Tim Hudson, Cubs LF Alfonso Soriano and Orioles RF Nick Markakis. Much of the spot was filmed at Wrigley Field, where Under Armour has a three-year deal for two 7-by-12 foot signs. The ad extends the brand's "Click-Clack" slogan used in football to the baseball diamond. It closes with Soriano delivering Under Armour's signature line -- "I Think You Hear Us Coming" -- in Spanish.

In addition to TBS, the ad will appear on ESPN's family of networks including on "SportsCenter," "Baseball Tonight" and ESPNews. (Via SBD's Closing Bell)
Here's the spot.....kinda cool if you ask me.

Well, if it's good enough for the legend of Nick Markakis, it's good enough for me.

Nothing beats Steve Spurrier saying 'Click-clack.'
Or maybe that angry white linebacker on 'Playmakers,' the first time I had ever heard of Under Armor.
