SNF Live-Blog: CHI-GB Pre-Game Open Thread

Yes, you figured right. Peter King is under that podium, people.

Hi folks, S2N here again for another week of Sunday Night Football, this week's match-up being the hapless Chicago Bears heading to Lambeau Field to take on the resurgent Green Bay Packers. Please posit in this open thread your opening number of how many times over the entire telecast that Costas, Collinsworth, Barber, Olbermann, Madden, Michaels, and whomever the fuck else I've forgotten orally fellate Brett Favre in ways that make the love slathered onto Tom Brady seem like just a reach-around.

I'll see you at the beginning of the first quarter. The Broncos are losing at home to the Norv Turner-led Chargers 41-3 in the 4th quarter and I can't handle losing to Norval sober. I need to play catch-up with my booze supply.

Oh, and a prediction? Green Bay, 17-10. This one will be low scoring, I think.

Not related, but Roger Clemens got pulled in the 3rd.

I hope he's on the cell phone with the wife to find out if he can play one more year.

Poor Joey.........the Falcons just lost to the Tennessee Titans. Joey threw another interception that resulted in another touchdown....his 3rd of the season.... going the other way. You are what you are. Have you ever looked in the mirror and said....."This is who I am .....and this is all I'm going to be."? He is what he is ......no more.....no less. He was lifted in the 4th quarter for another also ran in Byron Leftwich......who was ......just a bit high.....on all of his throws. At any rate .....the ATL finds another way to lose.....20-13.

Anon - saw that. Say good night to the greedy fat bastard!

I hope no one's dumb enough to give him his pro-rated $24 million if he wants to come back in July next year.

Wait. Scratch that. I hope the Yankees are dumb enough to do it again.

I guess he had 25 million reasons not to be with his family in Houston this year.

Now on to football.
