For all your self righteous blustering and nit picking of announcers you often display extreme levels of ignorance. Josh Booty was a two sport star from LSU. He was a highly recruited QB and a highly drafted baseball player. He took a shot at both sports professionally, but never succeeded at the highest level. There was a time, very recently, when John David Booty was known as Josh Booty's brother.

For those of you who don't know, the Bootys' father put together the football program at Evangel Christian in Shreveport. It is one of the most notorious "Jesus Football Academies" in the counrty. They've also had scandals involving improper relationships and coaches, illegally recruiting players, accusations of running up the score, and accusations of bad sportsmanship with players, coaches and parents. And now this.

I'm sure Jesus is proud of what the Bootys have done in their name.

No worries Steve. I still can't believe I didn't make the connection....I looked him up and all it said was Practice Squad QB for the Raiders. I know I've never heard/seen him on FOX.

It makes sense that he was once with the Raiders and is now having trouble with the law. Who was riding shotgun with him, Barrett Robbins?

Josh Booty played for the Portland Sea Dogs a few years back when they were still affiliated with the Marlin's. A buddy of mine said how bad a player Booty was. On the next pitch Booty hit one approximately 425 feet over the center field fence. He actually did stink but that was a pretty funny moment.

I saw him play A ball in Kane County. Same thing, he hit like .210 but when he got ahold of a pitch would just crank it. He got a big signing bonus from the Marlins and then tried to give it back so he could go play football. The Marlins didn't let him out and he didn't go back to school to play football till his contract was up.

There was also a 3rd brother, Abram Booty, who was a WR at LSU and graduated around the time that Josh came back to school.
