Emmitt Smith Sets A Guinness World Record

Friday, February 08, 2008

No it's not for most misused phrases or errors during a live telecast. It doesn't even have anything to do with Sports. Our friend Emmitt is the proud owner for the Guinness Record of "Largest Dish Ever Washed". Seriously...

Helping set the record on February 1 in Phoenix was legendary football star Emmitt Smith who cleaned the giant plate, which measured 10 feet in diameter. The dish was filled with potato skins and chili and topped with sour cream to mimic a traditional sporting event snack, and was then cleaned in under three minutes by the football hero. Emmitt's game winning combination involved a bottle of Dawn Direct Foam, a sponge and a bucket of water.

Way to go Emmitt! We are all so proud of you!!!

Yet another example of why there should only be one week before the Super Bowl.

....and now ESPN just showed Emmitt with a nice approach shot at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am. If I see Emmitt in one more non-football related segment, my TV's gonna get blowed up. Blown up?

Why can't he just enjoy his all-time rushing record and his Superbowl rings and ride off into the sunset? He really wants to be remembered as an idiot. I guess he took too many hits.

Well, Amaysing1, maybe he wants to end up on the cover of an "Insane Magazine" (Sorry, I had to)

"...in comparable to what I had to do on the football field"

Methinks he took too many hits...That stellar University of Florida education has gone bye-bye...
