Sean Salisbury Loses His Mind (But He's Right)

Thursday, February 07, 2008

This actually went down last week, but here are Sean Salisbury and John Clayton debating who's better for the Giants rookie TE Kevin Boss or Jeremy Shockey. Clayton sort of changes the question around and Salisbury goes off on him. Good times at the 1:10 mark....

See what happens when you just have people yelling and debating all day long? Sooner or later two of these talking heads are going to come to blows.

Salisbury rips Clayton on-air: “Tales from the Crypt” (TBL)

I get the feeling that Salisbury took a picture of Clayton with his phone, showed it to some people at ESPN, and they assumed that that was his dick. A miniature version of John Clayton.

I can't stand anything about Sean Salisbury. Total moron, who provides no insight and continually rides the jock of whatever team is hot.

The last time John Clayton made faces like he did at the end of the clip was when he finished having sex with the Fabulous Sports Babe.

Salisbury never fails to come across as the stereotype of the dumb jock bully. Clayton never fails to come across as the stereotype of the smarmy little nerd. Problem is, Clayton's right, and Salisbury is too dumb to understand him. Shockey's always hurt. Therefore, he's not good for the team.

ESPN realized the "people arguing" format was going to lead to problems, which is why on all of their shows, they're now in those little boxes.

I really dislike the little segment these two guys do. Mostly b/c I dislike Sean Salisbury, but also b/c I think it diminishes John Clayton's brilliant career as a sports reporter.

Salisbury is an idiot, always has been always will be. I see Sean I change the channel, his whole schtik is to belittle those around him by using insults and bullying. Sean needs to go away.

I hate Salisbury...he's a moronic thug who tries to intimidate Clayton...anyone else thing Salisbury was a bully in school? I do. Also, how can he say the Giants are better without Tiki, but worse without Shockey? Moronic.

Clayton is right, Boss is a better fit for this team...expect Shockey to get dealt or released this offseason.

Salisbury is the least likable analyst on ESPN and that's saying a lot. He reminds me of the guy who gets drunk five minutes after the party starts, smells like a cesspool and leaves a turd in the punchbowl.

I find these segments to be completely uncomfortably entertaining... Clayton.. .while looking like a complete alien with his hair-doo... destroys Salisbury each and every time... gets punished by the big bad bully... even though he is so completely far off... Case and point being the G-Men winning without Shockey and Boss grabbing a 45 yard catch. Hell... If Shockey caught that pass... he would have avoided 25 yards of Brent Musburger Daylight to hit someone one yard in front of him. Idiot.

I find it hard to criticize a HOF writer against a moron 3rd stringer.

Sean has given me nothing more than a nice lil pic of his weiner on my treo.

sincerely,

shenay
