6 Degrees Of S***

ESPN has plans to debut a new show in the same vein as the Six Degrees of Separation game. The show plans to find obscure links between Sports stars, and should probably prove to be more annoying than Cheap Seats...

A new series, "Missing Link," with Colin Cowherd as the host, will make its debut on ESPN Classic Wednesday at 7 p.m. The show will find obscure connections
among sports figures. The first episode will connect Lou Gehrig to Mike Tyson,
Joe Paterno to Anna Kournikova, and Alex Rodriguez to Chi Chi Rodriguez.
Greeeeeat. Colin f'ing Cowherd. The debut is March 7th at 9pm on ESPN Classic.....It's currently on my "must miss" list.

So they took "Quite Frankly" off for this?

Great. I'm sure Cowherd is skimming through all the blogs out there for some great material to steal while preparing for this show.

Ugh. Talk about a guy who really, really sucks the enjoyment from all aspects of sports.

I agree with the "they took off Quite Frankly for this?" sentiment. And for God's sake, that's like saying, "They took off Cop Rock for this?"

Am I the only one who actually likes Cheap Seats? Call me crazy, but I like the Sklar brothers.

First off, yes, you are the only one. They suck, and for that matter, so do you.

Secondly, the fact that the following paragraph didn't come from Sports Pickle of Sports Hernia is FRIGHTENING:

"A new series, "Missing Link," with Colin Cowherd as the host, will make its debut on ESPN Classic Wednesday at 7 p.m. The show will find obscure connections
among sports figures. The first episode will connect Lou Gehrig to Mike Tyson,
Joe Paterno to Anna Kournikova, and Alex Rodriguez to Chi Chi Rodriguez."

Colin's right. Keith tends to speak at people, instead of to people (like the Peter Kings, Jerome Bettis', and Sterling Sharpes do). Fair or not, the majority of fans don't relate to Keith, and that was the point that Colin eloquently made.

THB, you're not alone. I used to really like "Cheap Seats" too. It was a good little time-waster. I'd rather watch that than that overproduced "Who's #1?" crap.

For what it's worth, I happen to love Cheap Seats. Sklar Bros. are hilarious, in my opinion.
