CBS Football NFL Announcing Teams Weeks Four and Five
Friday, September 21, 2007
Really what's the sense in holding these back until next week's full announcing post? If CBS wants to release their assignments early we mind as well post them.
Here they are, and you should note on the heals of Gus Johnson's marquee game of Cincy-Seattle this week.....CBS has sent him to the Oakland-Miami for Week #4 and Jacksonville-KC Week#5. So much for that experiment.....you know the one that hasn't happened yet.

Thanks to Mookie from SSR for reminder.
Also, someone emailed me to ask why I use pics of Cheerleaders with the Announcing Schedules. To them and you I say....why not? Your New England Patriot Cheerleaders come to you via CNNSI.

THAT'S WHY I LIKE CBS.
They gave the "New York/New York" game the scrub team and early time slot it deserved. Fox would act like it's the biggest freaking game in the history of the NFL, and it would have started at 4:15 to ensure a national audience.
Although, I must say that that CBS is pretty freaking infatuated with the Denver Broncos for some reason
Hey, those 15-14 games are damn exciting!
For some reason, half the country this week is getting stuck with no 1pm CBS game but we're getting Cincy/Seattle @ 4. All of PA, and even parts of NJ is getting that game. Could that possibly be part of the Gus Johnson experience?
no, the steelers & eagles play at the same time so that could be the reason
AA, the distribution map at gribblenation doesn't dictate that Cin/Sea is across half the country.
Actually, it looks like the games were pretty well distributed this week.

Why would anyone question the use of cheerleaders??? Would you rather see Greg Gumbel, the real life Cabbage Patch Kid???
