Have you read the article that made him go off? If you did, you know that he was right.

She just opined for a couple of pages, with few if any facts to back up her assertions. And when she did present "facts," she didn't reveal any sources other than by saying "there are rumors" or "people say."

What did she do? Go to an OSU message board, read the rumors and half-truths posted there, and present them as her "research."

Seriously, that's what her article sounds like.

She was born to be on sportstalk radio. She's about as credible as the Colin Cowherds of the world.

No one cares about Oklahomans let alone their newspapers.

It’s one thing for a reporter to report – to say that a quarterback struggled finding his receivers, or a kid didn’t play because of a violation of team rules. It seems to cross the line, however, when a writer decides that it’s appropriate to attack the personal character traits of a college kid. We're not talking about a professional athlete here - Reid isn't paid to play. He shouldn't be subject to this type of criticism.

Did anyone see her reaction to her being called out? I think that was pretty weak too.

I'm pretty satisfied that someone stood up to the press and its liars. It took someone with a strong and unique method of putting the point out. You see, there isn't a defense to character assignation unless you take on the character of the other person. Gundy's method actual was very effective because now people know she is a fraud.

Believe it or not, it creates a beautiful win-win situation. Gundy has motivated his team because they know he backs them, Oklahoma State football gets free publicity which will help regardless what people think, the reporter will get a permanent position with the national inquire, and Bobby Knight has found a new friend in the big 12.

Another coach going after another writer for "impugning the integrity" of one of his players... Welcome to just another week in college football. BFD...
