And poor Brent is stuck in Wisconsin. Maybe ABC wants him to explain to Wisconsin fans that their team is good, but they're no USC. Sort of like he did in Baton Rouge two weeks ago, and Lincoln last week. In his defense, though, he was right in Lincoln.

Hahaha Anon #1...that made my morning.

Anon #2- No one will ever be better than this USC team you just need to except it!!!! Brent has.

Guys, they assigned Brent/Kirk to that game thinking that Iowa was going to be 3-0 as well, but the geniuses at the WWL forget that Iowa St owns Iowa. Oh well, since their are no great games and the 8pm game is getting regional coverage, does it really matter.

Best news is Erin Andrews gets to work 2 games in Florida and neither involves the Gators

Hey Griese in Michigan! We can enjoy listening to him trying "hard" to remain impartial as his Wolverines are molested on the field.

This week, you will finally get to see the greatness that is UNC quarterback TJ Yates and receivers Brandon Tate, Brooks Foster and Hakeem Nicks...as well as the ugliness that is the rest of the Tar Heels.

Do Brad Nessler, Bob Griese, Paul Maguire and Bonnie Bernstein each have houses right outside Michigan Stadium? Third week in a row they're doing Michigan games.

Don't worry Bob Griese, it's okay to cry.

Doug Flutie's doing the Miami game. Do you think they'll show his Hail Mary pass?

Chip Wesley,

If you knew ANYTHING, Griese went to Purdue - not Michigan.
So how can the Wolverines be 'his'?

Well, I know SOMETHING. And I remember that his son, Brian, was quarterback at MICHIGAN.

Yes, I knew Bob played at Purdue.

I also remember Bob getting to do Brian's Rose Bowl. And I remember Keith telling him it's okay to cry because his son just won a share of the national championship.

Getting Erin Andrews on Thursday nights almost makes up for having to listen to that braying jacka*s Craig James yeeeeee-haw his way through a game. Wait, I just realized CJ might get to work a USC game this year, since we play ASU on Thanksgiving. Hmmm, good thing it's a holiday Thursday so I can get my drink on early.

Is Joe Theisman still with ESPN or did he decline their offer to stay with them after he demoted from MNF?

Nooooooooooooooo.....Pam Ward doing another WVU game. Absolutely the worst. Let's see, during the WVU-Marshall game, she must have made at least ten blatent blunders (e.g. "The Mountaineers will be heading back to Huntington right after the game") not including the man-voice inane comments throughout the game. I don't think ESPN could find a worse announcer if they picked one through a lottery.

Pam is doing NC/USF. That doesn;t sound right.

The reason that Brent Musburger has been assigned to Iowa-Wisconsin has to do with his other duty as the co-host of NASCAR racing on ABC during the "Chase for the NEXTEL Cup." The next race is tomorrow in Dover, DE. It is a shorter trip from Madison to Dover than from Los Angeles to Dover.
