ESPN Gets Coverage Of Masters' First Two Rounds
Wednesday, October 10, 2007
PGA continues to make changes under new Chairman Billy Payne as he's moving the first two rounds of the Masters from USA to ESPN. The HD telecasts will air from 4:00-7:00pm ET, with replays from 8:00-11:00pm. ESPN also plans to use CBS’ production and announcers, but ESPN’s Mike Tirico will host the telecast.
This is huge for ESPN, but you know they plan on getting Berman involved in this somehow too. Can you feel my excitement?!?!

Berman once commented that he could not do the Masters beause he is preparing for the NFL Draft during this time of the year, seriously.
No way he passes it up. No way.
i really hope they don't bombard viewers with their non-stop "the masters is coming to espn" promos.
sincerely,
"nascar is coming to espn" promos
"You are looking LIVE, at the DR. PEPPER Augusta National Golf Course."
He's totally going to dust off that old green blazer of his.
There is no way the Green Jackets let the Jack Ass Berman on the premises. If they do, all holy hell will break loose.
If Augusta national lets Berman in and still keeps out gary McCord, they are effin' insane.
i dont remember if usa broadcasted it in hd, but all the tournaments ive seen on espn/abc in hd had looked amazing, so if this means more hd augusta, good
They displayed the Thursday & Friday Masters in HD on Universal HD the past few years.
I can't wait for Berman to interview Hootie "and the Blowfish" Johnson.
