Is ESPN Holding Tryouts For Dan Patrick's Time Slot?
Monday, July 23, 2007
Don't know if you're listening to ESPN Radio today (or any day), but ESPN has replaced the Scott Van Pelt Show (last week) with the Doug Gottlieb Show today. I've always enjoyed Dougie Fresh and he could be good on radio (unlike when he hosts for Rome on television).
I've got an idea though ESPN. Forget putting Cowturd or Van Peezy or Douglas in the slot, and let's go with Mike and Mike.....they seem like they have some free time.

Last week, as he was hanging up, Tim Kurkjian said told Michael Kay, "good luck" , so I'm thinking you're right about the auditions. Right now, anyone other than Screamin' A would be fine with me; even that tool Kuselias. I don't see them moving Douger from his nighttime slot, tough. You know who I'd love to see in that slot- Jason Smith. He's really good, and he doesn't take himself too seriously.
said told? I meant told...
Dougger's already doing the 7-10 shift daily( The Pulse), so I don't know what kind of tryout he needs. I don't much like his show, but he's got a really good rappaport with Josh Elliot, and the pair would be solid. I (and probably every other Kornheiser fan) would love to see LeBatard get the slot, but no way would Dan ever take it.
Apparently, there have been talks about dan's show being syndicated, so hopefully that means he would not go to the Mouse.
There's no way in Hell that Dan could or probably want do the kind of sports-intensive show every day.
Alright, knicksgirl needs to shut the hell up, no one cares what your travel plans are!!!
That being said, ESPN radio should just put a 3 hour block of Who's NOW on. it's better than Colon Cowherd.
