Breaking News: Tiger Is NOW!!!!!
Monday, August 06, 2007
Who would have ever thought that he could pull of this gargantuan upset?!?!?! No one predicted this! This is Mason-UConn, NC State-Houston, it's....dare I say it?
It's USA-Russia 1980!!! Tiger only got this win because he won the Bridgestone this past weekend right (or as Steve Levy called it on SportsCenter...the Firestone)?
Oh wait....he won with 65% of the vote? And everyone knew he was going to win from the beginning??? Well what about the judges!? One of them had to say it was Lebron? No??? They spent 5 whole minutes talking about nothing?
Well then....apparently they did.
My favorite part of that whole exchange is the very end when Stu says, "Well your votes don't count this round. It's all you the fan." Jalen was probably like..."Damn, well at least I get to stare at E-Money's gams then."
So there you have it. After a month of voting and one upset. Tiger is "Now".....thanks ESPN, we can all rest easy.

Yeah...I shouldn't even have posted it. Just skip it entirely everyone.
The AP story on ESPN.com (and potentially elsewhere) also called it the Firestone, in the first sentence no less. It's at http://sports.espn.go.com/golf/news/story?id=2962189
Wait, Tiger was NOW as of 10:15a. Don't we have to re-vote every millisecond to make sure it's still the case? Why do I think the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle applies to NOW?
the tournament was played at firestone country club in akron, oh

I am so happy this over, I was on pins and needles all week over who would be the NOWest.
Joe Morgan is now.
But Erin Andrews is in the video, people. Erin Andrews!
Literally THE UPSET of the Millenium, people! How can Tiger be NOWest when ESPN can't stop sucking LeBron's pole for more than 10 seconds?! I was convinced ESPN would rig the vote so they could crown LeBron The NOWest Of All Time. This was almost as good as ESPN declaring 2005 USC football as the Greatest Team EVAR!!!111 before Texas beat them in the Rose Bowl.
But at least it's over.
Very hard to get through that entire video. Had to shut it off about min 30 into it. Tough, thats all i can really say.
