Dana Jacobson Still Drunk, Picks Michigan To Win The Tournament

Thursday, March 13, 2008

Per usual, I wish I was kidding. That's right....ESPN First Take Host and Vodka Connoisseur Dana Jacobson is picking 10-21 Michigan to win the Tournament! What's that? No, not the NIT (they aren't even actually eligible for the Invitational)....the actual NCAA Tournament....

She is the chick in your office that picks schools because her friends went to those schools and or their colors are pretty. She'll ultimately win your money, but never your RESPECT!!!!!!!!

Update: Many of you have written that you think she's referring to just the Big 10 Tournament and I really wish that was the case. First, I have a problem and I watch too much First Take. Second, she's been harping on this all week. Here's tape from Tuesday....

Uhh.. is it just me or are they talking about the BIG TEN TOURNAMENT. Nowhere during the clip do they mention the NCAAs, so I don't know what you are talking about.

It doesn't matter anon. I am so fricking sick and tired of ESPN announcers talking about Michgan! You went to Michgan and/or live in Ann Arbor. WE GET IT!

When she says "who are you gong to pick in your bracket", she means the NCAA Tournament.

I watch way too much First Take and they've been talking about it all week. Seriously....who fills out a Big Ten Tournament Bracket?

For the record: They changed the rules now. You don't have to have a winning record to play in the NIT. The thing is, however, with the new rule is that regular-season winners who don't get top seeds automatically get a bid, so the pool of candidates is smaller than in the past.

There is no amount of alcohol that could make you drunk enough to pick Michigan to win it all. You'd have to be pretty smashed just to think they could win the Big Ten tourney - and if they somehow pulled off that miracle (which they won't, seeing as they're the sacrificial lambs for Wisconsin now), they'd be in the play-in game.

I wouldn't feel dumb for writing this post if Michigan pulled the astronomical out of their buttholes to do what she is suggesting. I might feel as if the universe has it out for me though.

Yep, my bad AA, you are right. NCAAs it is. That video made it a little confusing but you were right dawg. However, Michigan is going to win the B10 Tourney and Manny Harris is the 2nd best freshman in the nation.
GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!

Look, I'm a Michigan fan. Having said that, they'll be lucky to keep it within 20 an hour from now against Wisconsin.

They aren't looking too lucky right now as they are down 20. They scored 18 in the first half, and have scored 4 in the first thirteen minutes of the second half. God, they are awful. Put it to 'em Wisconsin!

Listen, Dana needs to be gone. They need to replace her. She is a drinking fool who is an embarrassment to espn viewers. Michigan to win it? Can we have some credibility on ESPN anymore?
