Your NFL Broadcast Maps And Announcing Schedule For Week Fifteen

Wednesday, December 10, 2008

The end is near my friends, and yet another week where there are only a few good matchups during the day on Sunday. CBS looks to have another winner in the Steelers-Ravens game at 4pm, as Baltimore continues to surprise me with the great numbers they've provided over the past two years. Other than that, their best option is the Broncos-Panthers game, but that's in the same time slot.

FOX, who's map I'll put up later when it's available from The 506, has a great game between TB and ATL, but are sending their A-team to Arizona as the AFC West Champion Cardinals take on the Vikings. Not a bad decision when you consider both teams are vying for the #3 spot in the Conference.

Here's the rest of your schedule....

NFL-N Thursday Night Football: New Orleans at Chicago (Bob Papa, Cris Collinsworth)
NBC Sunday Night Football: New York Giants at Dallas (Al Michaels, John Madden)
ESPN Monday Night Football: Cleveland at Philadelphia (Mike Tirico, Ron Jaworski, Tony Kornheiser)

CBS 1pm:

RED:
Buffalo @ NY Jets - Greg Gumbel, Dan Dierdorf
BLUE: Tennessee @ Houston - Gus Johnson, Steve Tasker
GREEN: San Diego @ Kansas City - Ian Eagle, Solomon Wilcots

CBS 4pm:

RED:
Pittsburgh @ Baltimore - Jim Nantz, Phil Simms
BLUE: Denver @ Carolina - Dick Enberg, Randy Cross, Dan Fouts
GREEN: New England @ Oakland - Kevin Harlan, Rich Gannon

FOX:

Tampa Bay at Atlanta (1pm) - Dick Stockton, Brian Baldinger and Laura Okmin
Washington at Cincinnati (1pm) - Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston and Tony Siragusa
Detroit at Indianapolis (1pm) - Thom Brennaman, Brian Billick
Green Bay at Jacksonville (1pm) - Ron Pitts, Tony Boselli and Charissa Thompson
San Francisco at Miami (1pm) - Sam Rosen, Tim Ryan and Chris Myers
Seattle at St. Louis (1pm) - Matt Vasgersian, JC Pearson and Turner

Minnesota at Arizona (4pm) - Joe Buck, Troy Aikman and Pam Oliver

Sorry about that......I step away from the PC and a prank is pulled.

The Cardinals play in the NFC West, not the AFC West.

What did the residents of Seattle and St. Louis ever do to deserve such torture?

You mean their lousy football teams? At least St. Louis has won a couple of championship in the past decade. On the other hand, Seattle has a MLS team now, so things are looking up!

@ Walnuts (and everyone else who was confused by what I said as I just now realize how vague it was): I was talking about having to watch that game. Period. Good thing that CBS has the double header or else it would be really bad for them. It had nothing to do with Matt Vasgersian (who is one of Fox's better announcers). I was just talking about the overall epic suck that game will present to it's unwanting viewers.

Hahahaha, look at all the suckers who get stuck watching the Bills-Jets. Feel MY pain.

Stockton and Baldinger got a better game than Lover boy and the Mannequin...LOL

CHRIST ON A CRACKER!

Please let me see anyone but the Bengals-Redskins game. I'd rather watch Bills-Jets on CBS than the craptastic M&Mer.

3-way tie in the AFC East, yet CBS will NOT air Patriots-Raiders in NYC or South Florida. This smells of what CBS and NBC did in the 80's when they force-fed "Dallas Against Anyone" and "Raiders Against Anyone". The ratings went into the toilet.

CBS actually lost viewers in Week 11 when it force-fed the Steelers instead of showcasing the then-unbeaten Titans.

@anon... It is odd how little the Titans have been showcased this season, un-sexy schedule aside...

As for the schedule, I live in BOS, so I cannot really lament getting stuck with OAK-NE, except to lament it... err... God, it sucks...

Thanks KSTU Fox 13 Salt Lake City for giving me Falcons-Buccaneers. Now I don't have to watch Bills-Jets. Go Broncos, 4-0 against the NFC South, baby!

Been there did that in the 1960s and 1970s, GMoney. As far as I'm concerned, like the lemmings off the cliff (see other sucktastic teams like the 49ers) they sell out. If I was the NFL, because the Lions were so bad, they wouldn't even be seen in Detroit.

Albert, Moose and Goose are FOX's No. 2 team - Who at Fox did they piss off seeing that they are calling Washington/Cincy?

Panthers fan here. Always nice to get away from the putridity that is Fox broadcasting. What is their obsession with sideline reporters? Do you see that every team of theirs has one now? Then look at CBS...none. Am I supposed to be smarter when I watch a Fox broadcast because some idiot on the sideline told me that Jake Delhomme loves to go home to his farm in LA on holidays? CBS has the same effect and they do it minus one person each broadcast. God knows how much money they save each week and they save us from pointless banter. Hopefully someone will wrestle the NFL away from Fox just like ESPN did with the BCS.

The Fox map is up. As always, credit, to the 506.

What the hell is this if I saw the fox map right. We get the Bungles and Deadskins game instead of ATL vs TB. Someone at Fox must be smoking crap to show this game to us.

Thank you Roger Goodell for manipulating the system so that all of the Bill Walsh teams and western teams stink, with the exception of Denver and possibly Arizona. Can't have western teams win too much, it would ruin our precious little ratings.

Anon@646: At least Fox is sending 49ers-Dolphins into New England and Vikings-Cardinals to Chicago.

The lovely and gracious Charissa Thompson shoulda been sent to cover Redskins/Bengals as opposed to Tony Siragusa. This game has either Pitts/Boselli or Brennaman/Billick written all over it.

Shit, the Redskins-Bengals has chris Rose/john Lynch written all over that motherfucker.

BTW, JFein. The good people in St. Louis won't be watching the Rams Sunday as they are getting blcaked out, so my guess is that they're getting Falcons-Bucs instead.

It could be worse. they could get the ARIZONA Cardinals against the Vikings.
