What, no Bill Maas?

They're killing me more than he could ever do with guns and drugs.

WHY must I be subjected to the odious Joe Buck week after week? Is this the price of being a fan of a good team (Bears)? Now I have to listen to that smug blowhard every week because someone decided he's on the A team? I think I'll watch TV and listen to the radio broadcast. Does anyone LIKE Joe Buck? Who decided that we need MORE Joe Buck? I don't understand. Help me please before I claw my ears off.

At least they have the #1 teams this week at the right games. I hate when the top teams are assigned to some random NFC East or Jets game just because, while Ron Pitts or Kevin Harlan gets what is really the best game of the week.

Nantz and Simms do get the Jets game this week, but I'd definitely say it's the best game on the CBS schedule. I'm talking about when Nantz and Simms are doing a game between the 3-3 Jets and the 2-4 Dolphins just because it's "Jets/Dolphins."

Vasgersian & Pearson? Wonderful. As if watching Detroit lose isn't painful enough. Such is the life of a Lions fan, we get the bottom of the barrel FOX and CBS teams 15 times a season, with Turkey Day being the obvious exception.

As a Saints fan, I sympathise. Until last year, I thought that Tim Green was our personal color guy.

As previously mentioned, here's hoping that Fox lets the big guys cover a few games that don't involve the NFC East this year.

Oh, God. One of two chiefs games I actually get to watch this year without going to a sports bar, and I get Solomon Wilcots? Why God? Why?

At least it's not Randy Cross. I'd be drinking Draino by the second quarter.

My favorite Randy Cross story is from 2003, the Ravens vs. the Chiefs game. I kept bitching about how Cross kept saying only positive things about the Ravens and negative things about the Chiefs, and my roommate thought I was being my typical irrational self, when we heard this gem. Ravens are down 21-6 and the Chiefs are driving.

Cross: "You see, the Ravens have the Chiefs right where they want them."

I shit you not. My roommate had to stop me from stabbing the TV with a shattered whiskey bottle.

Also, can I note the irony of Rich Gannon doing color on a game featuring Ben Rothelisburger? It's like the past and present collide!

A Browns home game without Gus Johnson??? Now I've seen everything.
