Monday, January 21, 2008

Here's your CBB Announcing Schedule for the rest of the week brought to you by UNC's Amber Bagwell. Thanks for the heads-up on the game Musburger is doing. I'll use that time to re-arrange my sock drawer.

Very mean trick AA. Telling us about a UNC cheerleader then linking us to a Duke cheerleader! Not cool man, not a good weekend for the Tar Heels.

Gannon and Bardo on San Francisco-Gonzaga tonight at midnight on ESPN.

Filling in some holes:

Howard/SC State - Charlie Neal, Stan Lewter
Alcorn/Pine Bluff - Doug Greengard, Sedric Toney

There's a CBS game on Sunday you also missed if you wanna call it a game, Michigan @ Sparty. Lundquist/Packer are at UConn/Indiana on Saturday. I'd also mention the Dayton/Xavier game on CSTV Thursday, two ranked teams there.

And for the Erin Andrews fans, she's always at the Big Ten game with Musburger on Tuesday and then the 9:00 ESPN game on Saturday.

Three quick things:

1) Any verdict on Doris Burke as a color analyst? I guess she's better than John Celestand.
2) Is Gus Johnson doing the Michigan-Michigan State game or is it Eye-an Eagle?
3) Who's John Scott Graham (Utah State-New Mexico State)? I thought that dude tried to take responsibility for killing JonBenet Ramsey.
/reaching for a lame joke

I'm shocked and apalled, AA. You forgot the most important game of the week- Duke @ Comcast Center, listening to me yell obscenities from 10 rows behind their bench, on Sunday night.

@chase:

Yeah, FSN Sunday night, with more than likely Tim Brando & Mike Gminski.
I didn't realize on that clip from Saturday of the UNC fan with the tear that some girl said "Go back to the ghetto."
Maybe I should actually look at these clips...

Aaaaand inexplicably, MASN is re-airing a completely not notable Notre Dame-Georgetown game. Go figure.

It should be just "Scott Graham" for the ESPN2 Sunday at 6p. Unless John's his real first name.

Does anyone have anything for the CSTV games this week? Especially for the Dayton at Xavier game on Thursday night. It's the only game of two Top 25 teams facing each other this week and I'm sure it'll get close to nothing from the press.

what ever photo editor or photographer who cropped that photo like that needs to be taken out back and beaten.

AA-

Do you know if we have Brando and the stuck up asshole Gminski for the Terps vs Dook game at Comcast in College Park on Sunday?

Hello, everyone. I'm new to the site, and I really enjoy what I see. I've had strong opinions about announcers and color men for quite awhile. I don't know just how much he's been covered here, but is there anyone else who absolutely cannot stand Jimmy Dykes? If there is a game I want to watch, and he is the one providing his unique brand of comedy, I will mute it. This actually happens a lot, as I live in the south, and there is no way ESPN is going to have him calling a Providence v Syracuse game.
