SNF Live-Blog: NE-BUF Pre-Game Open Thread
Sunday, November 18, 2007
Hi folks, S2N with you again for another Sunday night game. Most of you are still watching Redskins-Cowboys or some such, but document Costas & Co.'s atrocities here, along with the number of times Brady is verbally fellated. We'll be setting the over/under at 25. The spread for this game is 15 or 16, I think, so it's more a question of whether the Bills can cover tonight. With no Marshawn Lynch a possibility. I say no.
Score pick: Patriots 34, Bills 10.

Fucking Joe Gibbs.
Apparently I haven't been watching Sunday Night games... when did Olbermann start doing highlights again?
joe buck told me to watch family guy for a witty comment on immigration, ive gotta get psyched up for that, cant watch SNF
Pyle - KO started this season. Lynch is out with a sprained ankle, but +1 to you for that one.
AA - if Gregg Williams' vaunted defense would remember to cover T.O., you probably wouldn't be in this situation.
Gaaaaaaaaaah. I would pay good money to watch Bob Costas and Keith Olbermann simultaneously decapitate each other.
Also, Bob Costas called Purple Jesus "Andre Peterson."
Mike- I heard that too. The odds of Buck actually liking Family Guy are slim to none. Only Pat Sumerall did better "what the hell kind of show is this?" promos.
I just think they're both self-important pricks who try hard to be funny and failing amazingly consistently. But mispronouncing Purple Jesus's name is a terrible offense. Draw and quarter him, then make him watch clips of Emmitt Smith on NFL Countdown.
Don't forget Diki( or Dekey) Barber... he's only 3 feet away from you, Bob.
shit i forgot about this one, anyone catch the pack game and one of the announcers going on a huge speech about how great the packers are at getting YAC right after donald drive dove for a nifty catch? he dove, caught it, and was down, didnt get any yards afterwards; yet this brainchild took that as 'this is what green bay is great at, yards after the catch!'
Mike Georger - maybe Driver rolled a couple feet? :P
Mike, I missed it, there was a competitive game on CBS instead (Bolts-Jags), but I believe Dick Stockton was calling that game and I am not surprised if that was the case.
yeah other than that it was a well called game, just stuff like that irritates the hell out of me when the stat theyre talking about has nothing to do with what just happened.
i didnt realize state college was in the green bay coverage area, the other half of PA got the giants game, which wouldve been nice. bolts game was blacked out due to the steelers
also, got several 'slingshot' comments about favre. might have been a moratorium on 'gunslinger' for the week and the crack writing team theyve got there couldnt think of anything else
Bob just said a pass was completed from Boldin to Holt... AFTER he said the game "was of interest to him". Nice.
Where's Lynch? Did he get food poisoning trying to switch it up at Chili's?
