The Buck/Aikman NFC East Victory Tour continues this week after a temporary rest stop to suck on Brett Favre.

I get stuck with Greg Gumble and Dan Dierdorf (well Dierdorf can stay for unintentional comedy) and Gus Johnson gets sent to Miami for the Dolphins and the Jets?! What the hell is that? I got Gus Johnson once this season and relished any time there was a big play. And for the record, Steve Tasker is awful. CBS wishes Tasker made the CBS Thugs comment because I can guarantee he'd be bagging groceries.

If Beuerlein saying USC players are thugs, wait until he starts talking about the city of Oakland.

Beurelein knows all about Oakland already. He was our quarterback from 1988 to 1990. I doubt much has changed since he left.

Well...wait. We have kind of sucked lately.

Ever since flex scheduling started last season, the doubleheader games are crap. Last week was SD-Balt or Chi-Den, this week is Giants-Bears??? I know FOX has the doubleheader game this week, but why isn't JX-Ind at 4pm????

it's NOT about the BEST game at 4pm -- it's about which one can draw a rating.
haven't you figured that out?

also, CBS would have needed to request a time change 12 days before the game, and because of the FOX doubleheader, they would have lost a majority of the national audience. What the NFL should do in future years is allow for FOX and CBS to trade doubleheader weeks - this is clearly a week that CBS should have the 2nd game, not FOX.

Anyone notice how half the plays during the Giants-Bears game went uncalled by the normally excellent Joe Buck - Troy Aikman team. What's up with that? They comepletely screwed up the end of an exciting game. A first down on a fouth and fifteen when completely uannounced. On many plays Troy Aikman's color comments would start in midsentence. His mike had been turned off. I can only assume this is coming from the director. What a poor job of directing. Anyway, this novel experiment really stinks.
