Your College Football Announcing Schedule: Championship Edition

Well look who's back in the booth for the Army-Navy game on CBS....it's Boomer! I can't remember if he called the game last year, but that should be a good game with Eye-in Eagle.

It looks like this is the last chance for anyone to catch Gary Danielson in the Pammy Standings and with Spielman on the bench it won't be him. It's GD, Mike Patrick, and Brad Nessler for the gold!

Thursday, November 29:

Rutgers @ Louisville (ESPN, 7:45) - Chris Fowler, Doug Flutie, Craig James, Erin Andrews

Friday, November 30:

Fresno State @ New Mexico State (ESPNU, 8:00) - Eric Collins, Bill Curry, Dave Ryan

20 Comments:

1. Ian and Boomer did last years Army/Navy game.
2. Why is this the last time to catch Gary Danielson in the Pammys. He and Verne will do Gator Bowl on New Years Day.

That CBS crew for the Army/Navy game is strong. It has been so long I nearly forgot about the hotness of Sam Ryan.

Why does Erin get stuck to the crappy early games? She should definitely be down in San Antonio with me and my Tigers.

Not so fast, AA. Spiels announced on his radio show here in Columbus today that he will be fulfilling the role of Tony Siragusa during the Big 12 Title game on Saturday. ENJOY!!!

Why does CBS send Boomer out to the Army/Navy game every year, but he's not part of their #2 SEC team?

Poor Brent would probably rather be at the UCLA/USC game instead of broadcasting a meaningful game.

Now we won't get a chance for him to give us some of his patented "USC is the best team in the country right now" spin.

Terry Gannon is the least exciting football announcer there is.

I'm so glad that Pammy is doing the MAC Championship game because I'll be going to it and won't have to listen to her.

GO CHIPS!

Yet another reason why Ohio is the worst state ever.

I guess there isn't any Figure Skating to cover for Terry Gannon if he has the 'Victory Bell' Game.

I guess we know who Fouts will be cheering for in 'The Civil War'.

BTW, why does Ian Eagle call the Army - Navy game? Not that I'm complaining.

I'm so sick of hearing sports announcers pronouncing "Clemson" as "Clemzon". That's like saying "Amason" or "sportz". This past weekend I heard two co-announcers calling the Clemson S. Carolina game on ESPN, one with correct pronunciation and the other that just could not handle it. Jeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
