Your College Football Announcing Schedule Week 13

Tuesday, November 20, 2007

Here's your weekly installment of Announcing Team locations. It's rivalry week in College Football and there are some great matchups this weekend.

This week's schedule is brought to by SI's Cheerleader of the Week Tara Pyles from Wisconsin. Tara is our first redhead of the year, and I'm glad SI went the direction they did. Ginger Kids need love too! Tara's favorite class is Scandinavian Literature and her favorite food is cereal.

Tara is our first redhead of the year

Does the carpet match the curtains? and if she's a true redhead she quite possibly could be a psycho.

Breaking news - sources will tell Mark May tonight that Bill Callahan will be fired after Nebraska's game on Friday.

What's up with the Commonwealth not getting any love and getting pushed back to the deuce at noon?

Wow, Delaware playing Delaware State in the first round of the D1-AA tournament. That's not even for rivalry week. Maryland plays Navy more often than Delaware plays Delaware State. It's like when the Terps and Hoyas met up in the 2001 Sweet 16. I'm definitely going to watch that if I get home in time. The Hornets are going to be pumped.

Red on the head, fire in the hole.

What the hell ever happened to Joel Myers...

Over/Under: 4
The number of times Dave Ryan will say BEFORE KICKOFF it's the first-ever game between Delaware and Delaware State.
And I bet he uses the word 'rivals' even though they've never played. LOL
Stick to bowling. Wasn't Stoner supposed to take his place on bowling? Ryan got demoted back there this past weekend. tough love

Well, at least Erin Andrews will be in Charlottesville. I think I'll stick with Mac and Frank on the radio. And here's a little FYI for Andre Ware- it's pronounced "my-KELL" Simpson. Learn it, know it, love it.

Jonef...could be worse. Va Tech/Virginia could get the deuce AND Pam Ward on PxP. At least ESPN knows you don't send Pam Ward to an ACC playoff.

True, it's not actually a rivalry since they've never played. It is a different kind of rivalry though in the fact that Delaware has refused to play Delaware State in football for over 30 years. You could also argue that there's a class and race issue underneath it and be quite successful with that argument too.

Double Danielson? Here's your winner!

Joel Myers does Laker games, which I'm sure are taking precedent over FSN college football duties. But Bill Land isn't bad and I'd rather see Emily Jones over Jim Knox anyway.

Not sure any announcer could rescue Miami-BC. What a boring game!
