Matt Vasgersian Apparently Doesn't Read Mister Irrelevant

Wednesday, January 02, 2008

The WVU Dingle-Berry post all the way back in September by Mister Irrelevant was one of the highlights of a great year of blogging. Well Matt Vasgersian seems to have the same thing on his mind during this break in the action of the Fiesta Bowl....

Actually I take it back. We already know Matt Vas reads blogs, so I bet he was saving that one all night.

Funny, Matt V. said that and I immediately thought of the now-infamous Dingle Berry picture.

9:00 AM- Chris Mortenson reporting that Cam Cameron has been fired. Has ESPN actually broken a story first?

WVU is keeping their interim coach. I don't know if it's a good decision or not, but I think they should have waited a day or to to think about it rationally.

Cameron fired? I guess Bill Parcells will hire Jason Garrett, John Fox, or Maurice Carthon. Is there anyone else I'm missing?

I tuned in to watch Oklahoma-West Virginia last night and instead got OH-YOU against DOUBLE-YOU-VEE-YOU.

Hey, Vasgersian, I've got three intiails for you: WTF?!

I just want to get a count on how many unburned couches are left in Morgantown and the surrounding area. I'll bet it's in the single digits.

i'm way late on this, but I love Matt Vasgersian as an announcer. I'm a San Diego guy, so I'm biased since he did the Pardes games... but he's got great enthusiasm and a good knowledge of the games.

The dude is funny and entertaining too. You've gotta remember that there are lots of different types of people that watch the game... some want detail on all the action, some want to be entertained. I think Matt does a great job of walking that line.

He obviously cares about what he does, and that's rad.
