Tuesday, January 15, 2008

This is Tom and he's doing his first on-air report for Huntington University located in Indiana. Tom wasn't exactly prepared.....

I think you'd be a good producer Tom, and GO FORESTERS!

It's not Boom Goes the Dynamite...but it's close. (On 205th)

This reminds me of that SportsCenter ad where Rich Eisen was sent down.

Hang in there, man -- you did a good job. Better than I could have done.

I'm sure ESPN will hire him in about a week to replace Emmitt Smith and nobody would even notice the difference.

I love college tv, cheesy bad sets, disintereted looking "talent" and they never level out the anchors chairs. good times kinda like espn when they started out in a trailer.

Tom had a difficult choice to make after graduation: Sportscenter anchor or Play by Play on BCS games.

He must have been thinking about the Colts cheerleaders.

My son is a journalism major at KU. It ought to be a real laugh riot the first time he gets his big mug on camera.

Great. Now you made me waste time and look at "bad weatherman" on YouTube again. If you haven't seen it, look it up.

One of the other attached clips shows Ric Renner as a local sportscaster in Jacksonville, Florida. He now works for FSN Southwest.

Another has Jane Skinner, the wife of NFL commish Roger Goodell.

And they were all FUNNY!
