David Feherty's Analogies Confuse Me
Sunday, April 08, 2007
A few people have sent this to me, so I figured it deserved its own post. Masters' Golf Analyst David Feherty on the gorgeous day at Augusta National....
"Such a beautiful view ... and to play this course on a day like this, it's like being tortured by a beautiful woman."- DF
Pretty sure he's talking about the difficulty of the course, but in all honesty I have no idea what the Irishman was really trying to say.
Thanks for the tip East Coast Bias and Mister Irrelevant.

Mr. Feherty just gave himself away as a closet sub.
He's Irish, he doesn't know anything about beautiful women.
I did enjoy his description of a Nicklaus '86 Masters shot as landing softly "like a butterfly with sore feet."
David Feherty rules it.
I have to say watching the Master's in the sublime and seeing the beautiful shot of the bridge, lucious vegitation, perfect blue sky - truly nature's innocent spendor - it brought tears of laughter to hear David's analogy of being "tortured by a beautiful woman"..... wow - what was he thinking.....and then he was gone.....Mr S&M.....out for some "torture"...?
Very good picture of ferret-y Mr. Feherty. Not only does he talk like Satan, now he also looks like him. :D
