TNT Basketball and MySpace

Friday, April 20, 2007

I have no idea why they've decided to do this, but for the playoffs TNT has procured a MySpace page. It even includes a blog! Well, actually just one post from the Highlight Supervisor (Johnny O) about working for TNT.

The greenroom is a fun place to be. Charles is usually holding court just like on the air-in fact, he's the same guy you see on TV… loud, fun, opinionated, generous, and all in all a good guy. He will talk sports (any sport) with anyone but just make sure he's not locked into watching CSI at the time, and if you don't like Tiger Woods don't go near him.
Interesting stuff. I guess it's not that bad of an idea, but like the phrase says, "If it ain't broke...don't fix it. Seriously TNT, you have the best pregame/halftime show and you have the best announcers (sans Doug Collins)....ESPN isn't close. Please don't turn into them now.
